Ewing Township Libertarian Club

There seems to be a lack of fiscal conservatives in elected positions in New Jersey. I have decided to see if there would be support for a group that would be interested in actually lowering taxes here in Ewing Township. I have created a website for a club and created a group on meetup.com to coordinate activities.

Whether you are a liberal, conservative, or an independent, please join the Ewing Township Libertarian Club if you would like to reduce debt, spending, and taxes. We need to separate the luxuries from the necessities in Ewing.

Facebook and Myspace sites created

I created sites on Facebook.com and Myspace.com to help network and spread the word about my campaign for Freeholder of Mercer County, New Jersey. I'm also going to create libertarian groups on those sites for Mercer County as well. I would like get together a large group of libertarians in our county in order to spread the word on how libertarian ideas could improve our townships, cities, counties, and our state.

Libertarian Party of Mercer County (New Jersey)

I put together a website for the Libertarian Party of Mercer County. I plan on keeping it up to date with meeting information. There is also a forum which I would like to keep up to date with county events as well.

I plan on making a run for Mercer County Freeholder. The first step is to get the Libertarian Party's approval at the 2007 New Jersey Libertarian Party Convention. Then I will need to collect 100+ signatures to get on the ballot. The LP of Mercer County will have an outreach event at the Trenton Computer Festival at The College of New Jersey on the weekend of April 28th and 29th.

Wow - I like Google Calendar

I really like google calendar. Below is an example of what you can do with it. Google can send emails and text messages to your cellphone to remind you of events as well. I'll post a link on the left so you can see what the kids and I are up to, if you're interested.

Bye Bye Television, It's gone!

July 1st, 2006 Podcast

It's Officially Gone!!! We are a TV free home and it feels good. If you remember from a previous post about two weeks ago, we put the tv on the floor in our bedroom by the closet to see what life would be like without television. The first few days were an adjustment (for Tamra and Kaitlyn, mostly), but we survived and feel like we have more valuable time together without it. Kaitlyn watched one or two 20 minute shows a day and then Tamra would watch a show for about an hour a night. Now, more work gets done and done by including Kaitlyn! She really likes to help us (she asks!)
